Born and raised in the Tulsa metro, I have 5 children, 4 grandchildren, a cantankerous husband, and 3 marginally spoiled dogs. My writing pursuits have been blended in throughout my life, but I’m looking forward to a more focused approach moving forward. I have been published sparingly, including once in the children’s magazine AppleSeeds where I had both a feature article and sidebar. My poetry has been included in a number of anthologies, and I was a student staff writer and editor for The Universe, a college paper that served the UCAT (University Center at Tulsa) campus. I just finished a 25-year journey for my Bachelor’s degree while also serving on the Tulsa City Council. Other interests include photography and digital artwork.
