Speaker Bio 

Nikki Hanna

As an author, writing coach, and writing contest judge, Nikki Hanna is dedicated to inspiring others through writing, presentations, and workshops. She speaks on writing, offers writing workshops, and sponsors writing retreats. She also speaks on aging, leadership, and women’s issues. In addition to numerous awards for poetry, essays, and short stories, she has ten books published on Amazon. Hanna received the Oklahoma Writers’ Federation’s Crème de la Crème Award in 2013. When asked to describe herself in one sentence, she said, “I’m a metropolitan gal who never quite reached the level of refinement and sophistication that label implies.” The contradictions reflected in this description are the basis for much of her humorous prose.
