Aubrey has been all over the world, including almost a year in China, but she keeps coming back to Tulsa. When she started her degree in Creative Writing she assumed she’d, you know, write. But a surprise love for the editing process moved her to start her own freelance copyediting business. She reads submissions for the online literary journal Apple in the Dark, and when she makes the time, still writes. Her poetry and prose have won various awards and appeared in eMerge Magazine, The Talon Literary Journal, the Okie Bookcast, Brio magazine and others. She tries to make sure her husband, son, dog, and cats are all fed periodically. None of them have an opinion on the Oxford comma.
